Carolyn Weathers Ward 3

Ward 3 is located in the southwest quadrant of the city, with full length access to US Highway 82 on one side and US Highway 1 on the other side. Located in Ward 3 are industrial areas along the Mississippi River Port, including The Port Commission, shipbuilding and dry-docking facilities, and the Greenspointe Industrial Park. Also located in Ward 3 are wonderful shopping areas such as the South Riviera Shopping Center, which includes a Super Wal-Mart. Ward 3 is also the home of several medical offices, many newer homes and neighborhoods, and a large agricultural area.
