The City of Greenville is fortunate enough to be one of only a few towns in the State to have a Public Relations and Grant Writing staff person. This person is responsible for making sure the public is made aware of events and programs that are happening throughout the City and within the Mayor’s office.
Press releases, presentations, personal appearances and interviews are all a part of the public relations position. Grant writing is also included in this position. The grant writer researches, applies for, and writes federal, state, local and foundation grants for the City. The grants that are awarded help to improve and maintain the infrastructure of our community.
